You saved $2.26

Hi. I'm about to dive into another intense study session for my medical terminology class.  In order to make room for the info I actually need to store in my brain, I will now proceed to clear out the useless thoughts that are taking up valuable space, along with other random stuff of the day:
-First things first, as the title of this post indicates, I saved $2.26. Yes! And even got a 5 cent fuel reward. Score!  I stopped at the grocery store on my way to work to buy some frozen meals (and Miracle Whip because the store I went to last night was out, aaaaaand I also gave in to buying a box of half a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts...which by the way, was the most expensive and winner for the most empty calories item on my receipt, ACK!!! Oh well, 8 seconds in the microwave and it was melt-in-my-mouth goodness! Purchase justified.)
-As mentioned, the point of the trip was to get some frozen meals to leave at my work.  I spent a good chunk of time in that frozen food aisle.  Decisions, decisions.  I had a coupon for $1.50 off Lean Cuisine (if I bought10). I picked out the ones I thought sounded most delicious (including the BBQ Chicken pizza which is quite nice!), all the while trying to justify in my mind paying $3 for EACH (and remember, I was gonna buy 10 to use the coupon) and continued strolling further down the frozen food aisle.  I noticed the Michelina meals were on sale for 88 cents.  {groan}
Last time I bought frozen meals I decided to try out the Michelinas (which were then 10 for $10).  They weren't HORRIBLE, but I definitely liked the Lean Cuisine better.  I lingered for a moment in front of the Michelinas and then continued on my way, cart full of my not-on-sale-overpriced Lean Cuisines.
You guessed it.  It wasn't long before I was coming back down that same aisle and quietly returned my Lean Cuisines (Well I kept the BBQ Chicken Pizzas!) and traded them out for the 88 cent Michelinas (This is at Smith's right now and if you go to the Michelinas website you can print off a coupon to save 20 cents I think when you buy five...bummer I didn't know that earlier!).
-I was a little embarrassed when I showed up to work with like two bags full of frozen meals.  *Gasp!* I've become a most despised (not really) freezer hog!  (more on that later....In fact, stay tuned for a future post about my Frozen food reviews, as well as the more deets on the Freezer Hog Wars!
-My eyes scanned the shelves within those chilly glass doors and I had to do a double take.  Oh!  Oh!  Wait...nevermind.  That bag of frozen vegetables didn't say "CRACK-pot meal" but rather "Crock-pot meal".  Of course, that makes sense (Ok, maybe studying til 1 am wasn't such a good idea....).
- My receipt showed "LOL spread" (LOL = Land o Lakes) and that made me LOL!
-Today I was driving behind a big red fire engine and later an ambulance.  I noticed for the first time (present on both vehicles) that the turning lights are cool.  They are yellow lights that flash as they form into an arrow.  That probably makes no sense...so just pay attention to the turn signal lights next time you see a firetruck and/or ambulance.
-I got a B on my death and dying test.  Not too shabby considering I didn't study at all (oops!) and b-s'd my way through the last two essay questions.

-Last but not least, my friend gave me a chocolate-coconut kiss.  Oh man, that was happiness in my mouth!  Delectable!

  1. Since you asked...The only thing I have to say about word press, maybe increase the font size, some of it is super small, and I'm not far sighted.
    Med terminoly what a super easy class, I liked it!
