One of the greatest inventions known to man has got to be toilet seat covers. Really, they are great and I am so grateful for them. You can also use the middle part to dab at your oily face if necessary (before putting it on the seat, obviously.).
While on this subject, can I just say that one of the most heart stopping experiences is when you are sitting on the porcelain throne and someone bursts in?!?! Enough to give someone a minor heart attack. Or even if they just try to open the door and in a panic you check to make sure you indeed remembered to lock it, and to your relief it is locked.
